A Napa Afternoon

While the quick little jaunt to San Francisco last weekend was a fun-filled few days, my favorite part was the trip to Napa. I had never been and its on my 101 things list, so we decided to go on Sunday afternoon. One of the many benefits of San Francisco is that, even though it is a busy and bustling city, is only about 45 minutes from the quiet vineyards of Napa Valley.

First major perk, Ali and Jonny have a convertible so we cruised over The Golden Gate Bridge and all the way to Napa with the top down. It felt like a movie scene.

And here are my attempts at being artsy from the backseat of the convertible.

We tasted wines and soaked in the beautiful views at four vineyards, but it would have been easy to spend days exploring this beautiful part of the country! Here are a few of my favorite snaps.

And after a wonderful afternoon, we climbed back into the convertible and returned to the city.
