I always love Nashville...but Thanksgiving Day is one of my favorite days of the year to be a Nashvillian.
As the Thanksgiving tradition stands, the Carroll family was decked out in costume and ready to take run The Boulevard Bolt this morning. It was less that 20 degrees, which made for a much smaller crowd, but we still carried on the tradition!
Just some indians stretching in the trees before the five mile race.
Part of the fun of the race is running into friends, old and new! We snapped this pic to tell Ali we we missed her.
Here is the whole crew of Indians. After crossing that finish line, we did not feel so guilty about stuffing our bellies full of delicious turkey!
And these are the pre-race pictures. Sadly, dogs are not allowed so Aunt Bea and Winston (our house guest for the weekend) had to stay home. And the picture of my dad was texted to the family to show us a preview of what we would be wearing on Thanksgiving morning. We all approved and it was a festive, fun start to the day!
Happy Thanksgiving.
xoxo
Makes me laugh out loud every year. Y'all are awesome.
