I am in San Francisco this weekend for a quick visit, so of course we had to go to Tartine Bakery, our favorite breakfast spot. It is arguably the best bakery in America. And the long line is proof of its goodness.
Here we are happily anticipating our meal, watching the workers craft delicious cakes.
Our meal was delicious, even though it was quite difficult to decide on just a few items to order. I would have happily eaten anything in the bakery.
Tartine is famous for their cookbooks...but we had the priveledge of enjoying the real deal and the one and only, Tartine!

Yum! I actually spent a semester or so living in San Francisco and never went here! I feel so lame now, lol because it looks and sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing :) Next time I'm in the area, I'm totally visiting!
